Black Bart 2 ◊ 2014-05-02 19:46	Sure, this is a 50 minute documentary about aircraft disasters (before 9/11 of course) and how they happen. It shows many airplane crashes in passenger flights and air shows and some of the footage they show is kind of disturbing. There are a lot of background cars, which I'll post in the comments if this page gets validated and this would make a good IMPDB page (there are a lot of planes), if that site counts documentaries.

Buc84 ◊ 2014-05-03 18:01	Pictures #2,#3,#4 and #6 (of the cars) are from the "Flugtag '88" Air Show crash,August 29(?),1988,Ramstein USAFB,Germany. Italian A.F. Fighter Jet(Soloist) went into crowd when crashing during a failed maneuver("Arrow piercing a Heart". Black Bart 2 ◊ 2014-06-30 20:18	I'm impressed with how the IMPDB page made out. Few of the disasters mentioned on the page weren't in the video. It also said that a synopsis was needed, here what it says on back of the tape: "Air Disasters exposes some painful truths behind the world of flight, using actual footage of real incidents to look at why planes crash; in aerodynamic and technical terms and in the way the industry is run. It reveals what is being done to prevent disasters from occurring and how successful that is against a background of change in the modern world. A FACT: Millions of travelers rely on the airline industry as the most effective means of transportation to all areas of the world Statistically, we are assured that flying is safer than crossing a road, however, year in and year out there are incidents that challenge this accepted wisdom. Air Disasters attempts to answer important safety questions raised with airlines registered in every tiny state of the world, each having their own codes and regulations." Also, I see some of the planes are unidentified. I don't have much more info, but I'll give in anymore info I got from the video: This crash happened in Lake Ontario in 1991 (Same place and four years before as the crash of the Hawker Siddeley Nimrod MR.2P). This happened at an air display in Japan. Sadly, the plane that is the lowest in the 3rd thumbnail struck a house, killing 11 people. This shot was meant for the biplane. Other then that, it's another shot of the Airbus A320-211 disaster and by the way, the tape said it happened in June 1989. These are two extra shots of the August 1988 Ramstein air show disaster.
