Actually, this is a pretty good season. The story is well set up and executed and the villain's are pretty intimidating. The actual rangers themselves do a great job acting and I don't actually see a lot of Sentai footage being used. The only downside to this is that a lot of the side characters are terrible (with the exception of Sarah Thomson as Fran)

 Of course he is, but he doesn't seem to have gotten started yet. Normally, he starts work on the following season directly after finishing the previous season.
