Troma Entertainment's reimagining of William Shakespeare's classic play. Instead of two rivalling families in 1500s England, it's two rivalling street gangs in mid-'90s New York City.

20 points to anybody who recognizes the driver :D Hint: he's also the writer!

According to an anecdote, during the Paris Motor Show 1950, eight Alfa Romeo managers having dinner with their French representatives after the presentation of the 1900, were approached by a fallen Russian prince, who used to entertain guests at the Parisian restaurants telling jokes and poems, and who told them: "Je vois huit Roméo, mais aucune Juliette!" (I see eight Romeos and no Juliets!). The managers recalled this joke a couple of years later when they met do decide the name of the upcoming midsize car Type 750, and that's how the Giulietta name was born (and the Giulia too, as a logical consequence)

Thank you Alex... I forgot the story, but long ago, as I was bit more than a kid, my grandfather (he had owned and much loved a Giulietta TI) told me this story, a similar one, or something with the frase "There 8 Romeos and not a single Giulietta"... Never heard again.

Actually the original play was set in Italy, not England. Was this meant to cash in on the Leo di Caprio movie?

I guess that's what happens when you don't pay attention in English class  But yeah, it is a possibility, since both films came out in 1996.

To everyone else, the man driving the T-Bird is James Gunn making him film debut, hence why Lloyd Kaufman has a cameo in all of his movies.

You're welcome :) Also my granddad was an Alfa Romeo driver when he was young: for what I know he owned a Giulia, a Giulietta [116] and a 33, all in red, but my mom says he should have had also a coupé for a short time (maybe an Alfetta GTV)

This is easily the best scene in the entire movie. To quote a friend, "It just keeps giving!"
