Biopic set in the 1940s of Mikhail Kalashnikov, inventor of the AK-47.

Quote Mosfilm military technical cinema base is a whole production unit consisting of four sections: tank, artillery, automobile and shooting sections:
more than 100 tanks and self-propelled guns
tanks and armored personnel carriers "disguised" as different kinds of foreign military vehicles
different kinds of armored personnel carriers, automobiles, radio- and telephone equipment, field kitchens, including the horse-drawn ones
planes and mock-ups of planes
several dozens of artillery weapon units, including those made abroad
Everything is in good working order and ready for filming. Now we have 206 units of armored vehicles of different time periods and 120 units of wheeled vehicles. That is enough for making several films simultaneously.

Quote Russia’s oldest and biggest movie studio Mosfilm donated dozens of Soviet-era tanks and other armored vehicles to the Russian army last year, its CEO said during a meeting with President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday.

Mosfilm storage facilities housed 28 T-55 tanks, eight PT-76 light tanks, six infantry fighting vehicles and other military equipment, according to the company’s chief executive Karen Shakhnazarov.

“I learned that there was a need, contacted the Defense Ministry and they took these vehicles,” Shakhnazarov told Putin in a meeting at the Kremlin.

Ironically Mosfilm's old soviet tanks played role of Nazi "Tigres" in movies about WW2. And now these tanks became part of Nazi's army in reality
