All the one star road cars listed are part of the scenery in the opening credits swinging sixties dance sequence. So they don't just "happen" to be there, they are part of the set.

And they are not so common, especially for a recent movie

It was all filmed in the US. The fake studio backlot version of London is part of the joke -- it's meant to look like 1960s shows like The Man From UNCLE, where episodes set in foreign countries were shot on the backlot or in the countryside just outside Los Angleles.

It's like in the second film they are driving around what is supposedly English countryside and Austin says "You know what's remarkable? Is how much England looks in no way like Southern California."

There do indeed seem to be a lot of Taylor-Dunn products in this movie.....I just assumed that Doctor Evil got his supply of ground conveyors from Taylor-Dunn.

I saw what appeared to be a 1989-96 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera briefly after the "Shaguar's" first appearance in Las Vegas.

@mike962: your new pics are definitely not HD, so I won't replace the current DVD ones.

They're like that because I used to use the Vivid setting on PowerDVD (because I thought it looked better) They could be possibly be altered in Paintshop or something.

All distant background that was rightly ignored by the three previous contributors.
