None of the characters ever drive a car, and only Martin Donovan is shown behind the wheel of one, but it never moves, nor is the car ever shown from the outside: Blurry New York cab: New York traffic with some interesting specimen: A peculiar bus: Some microscopic parked vehicles (and Danny DeVito in first thumb):
