Some of the race car footage is 1937 Le Mans (results and racing numbers at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1937_24_Hours_of_Le_Mans) but other footage is different race (with different racing numbers from Le Mans) - possibly single seater GP. Update - 1937 French GP was a non-GP championship run for sports cars. Records difficult to pin down, but http://forums.autosport.com/lofiversion/index.php/t89872.html suggests the cars and numbers are not relevant here. -- Last edit: 2010-11-02 00:48:09 |
