Yes. In the story of the action takes place in Karlikiya, a small Western European country - something average between Italy and France. :lol:

The main thing is to make it look "on the western". Soviet moviegoer is not distinguishes Italian car from American; and French car - from Japanese car. :D

 Also, this movie was based on the novel of the same name, by V. Gubarev. I read it in my time, and I want to say, it is many times coolest than this film. That novel is a real killing thriller. Whereas the this movie is just a naive tale for kids.
