Yep. It's the next TV series based on a video game, this one on Peacock. |

Maybe they can try turning a TV Series or movie into its own game.. Oh, right, they already tried those too |

@yjq20090907 > what is the logo in the bottom-left corner? Please do not add pictures from illegal sources if it is indirectly stated on the picture that they are illegal... |

well, it is the logo from a website of American TV-series where I get it. |

Which is most likely illegal, so either find images from clean sources, or at least try to blur/hide these logos |

Ep 1.03 shows how the world went apopylitic in 2002. So no vehicles should appear newer than that. So the WRX is the newest possible model year. Don't know if any anachronistic vehicles will appear. |

There are a couple, I will give them a past because this show only had a 40 million budget which isn't much for a 90 minute film, let alone a TV series. Anyways there is a Pontiac G6 in some scenes, that's the only one I spot a lot and remembered -- Last edit: 2023-08-24 21:35:34 |

Yeah, last two episodes fall flat on the faces with numerous too new for the story vehicles. |

Once again, I will give it a pass because of its budget, 40 mill is nothing today, trying to make a action pack carnage filled post apocalypse with that you got to cut corners -- Last edit: 2023-08-26 00:29:43 |

Maybe a 2001 Acura MDX named Cynthia can make an appearance? Oh, who am I kidding, one can only imagine though |

for a TV adaptation for a car mayhem based game there was almost no car action at all !! so this show was rather crap |

I disagree. There was plenty of car action, it was mostly in the first, fifth, and tenth episodes. While I did wish there were more, it kinda makes sense given the budget. Plus, it'd make sense to introduce some of the characters before building up to the actual tournament, which will happen in the second season. And honestly, despite a weak first impression, it's a pretty funny show for the most part. Which seems on-brand for the likes of Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, the same writers behind Zombieland and Deadpool. Even if it's not a 1-1 adaptation, it's still a more fun show than something like The Last of Us. (Yeah, I hate TLoU, don't @ me) |
