 The Preseason had 3 episodes from 2000, which I could not find. Season 1 is from 2002.

Is it true that Figaros are no longer road-legal in J because of emissions regulations?? So now apparently they've all been exported??

No. Unlike buses and trucks there aren't any emission rules against old passenger cars. However, finding parts for discontinued cars is hard, which makes passing JCI a lot harder which is why you see more and more 90s JDM cars (not just Figaros) being shipped outside of Japan.
