 Hi Adrian, although it doe's look 'Miami vice' style from that corvette pose on the credits, I'd say this series has much more in common with Mel Gibson & Danny Glover in the Lethal Weopon films.! (Max Monroe is a wacky type character ..thus the 'Loose cannon' part of the title.! ;) )

 Car chase (minor)+ crash (eps. 1.1):- Jeep cherokee vs. chevy ambulance (the jeep is quite far behind, the chevy looses control & crashes into some timber.!)
