 Set in 1930s Germany (if they hadn't show a gang of SA men interrogating the main character I probably never would have thought so...) and postwar in America.

They actually acquired a copy of The Daily Worker (newspaper of the American Communist Party)

 They could be limited to 720 pixels wide, as it is not HD quality, but not really a big deal anyway for a few pictures
