Ordered by german Gestapo, but executed by french police who was under commandment of the sinister René Bousquet at this time. Taboo subject in France memory, this film has been the first one to treat it... and M.Mitrani did it very well! Contrary to what it's said in this paper of L'Express: Link to "www.lexpress.fr" , the new film "La rafle" on the screen this year wasn't the first film about the "Rafle du Vel d'Hiv". There's another film evocating this story too, in 1976: Monsieur Klein from Joseph Losey /movie.php?id=74916 Christine Pascal Judit Magre ..in the meanwhile, everykind of business is keepin on !
