 Harold Lloyd's 86-minute long silent film "Speedy" takes place in 1927 New York and Coney Island. It's roaring twenties and life is good, 1929 market collapse and depression is two years away. Hundreds of cars are seen in this film. I try to pick the interesting ones (not every Model T).

Probably a prop using the name of an actual movie. "Larry Ray" is shown as the actor on the placard? Neither of the movies on IMDB have list that name. In addition I think the Apollo is in Chicago and London but not New York??

"Speedy" loses his job as a soda-jerk, then spends the day with his girl at Coney Island. He then becomes a cab driver and delivers Babe Ruth to Yankee Stadium, where he stays to see the game. When the railroad tries to run the last horse-drawn trolley (operated by his girl's grandfather) out of business, "Speedy" organizes the neighborhood oldtimers to thwart their scheme.
