![]() ![]() Taken from ![]() We Live in Two Worlds 2-DVD set and second volume (of 3) of shorts from The GPO Film Unit, covering the period 1936-1938. 9 minute film which is nothing to do with horseys - Horsey is a Norfolk village ![]() which was marooned by coastal flooding when sea defences collapsed in Feb 1938 and the countryside was inundated for 15 square miles - there ain't no mountains in that part of the world. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() But the gallant postmen keep up the mail deliveries despite everything, cheerfully cracking bad Norfolk jokes and whistling badly ........ A "new £200 tractor" ![]() |
