Very bad movie ... manicheism as a constancy and as so many bad hollywood cinema flood the world!! ... the fact that the film is for a childrens audience shouldn't be an excuse ... the "nasty" for another IMCDB (Int.Movie Cats data base) -- Last edit: 2006-11-18 09:58:17 |

I found it funny, but I do not remember if it was good or not. |

No. There's none. The cats only drive the limo into the factory wreaklessly. |

I like the way sixcyl judged this film so seriously, surely it can't be worse than a lot of other Hollywood childrens/family movies? "Manicheism as a constancy" What, was this film supposed to have a complex, ambiguous antagonist, who is misguided and tragic rather than just plain bad? |

I thought it was cute (being a sucker for animals) albeit cheesy and low-budget, but the human characters in CnD were so moronic and gullible that I ended up questioning how they were able to even breathe ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ -- Last edit: 2023-04-06 04:04:08 |

I unironically like these movies where they give live action animals CGI mouths to make them "talk". They may not always be very good or stomachable, but they're cute and it looks real enough to me. |

I'm thinking there was once a pitch meeting at Warner Bros. that went like this: moron #1: "Ideas, anyone?" moron #2: "Mission: Impossible with cats and dogs as agents!" moron #1: "Sold!" A most depressing waste of Jeff Goldblum. Pics, some of which were cropped and zoomed in, replaced with HD. Added two vehicles. |

The premise of this movie reminds me of The Secret Files of the Spy Dogs (1998-99). I remember seeing this movie advertised in a Donald Duck magazine almost 25 years ago and I thought it was a live-action-remake of that show. Haven't watched the intro in well, 25 years, but I still remember it clear as day. I saw this about 8 years ago with a few friends with the horrendous Norwegian dub. It was hilarious. |

Bud Spenser stared in a similar titled movie (not one of his best) and had a funky theme https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kmjWHfqfQfo |

It's the basic premise of Toy Story but with pets. |
