Very ironical painting on french Monsieur Tout-le-monde consumer society in the early 70's, and his way of thinking holydays, hobbies, entertainment, sexuality, politic... the film had been boycotted by french TV of the era who thought it didn't give a positive image of Frenchs ... indeed it didn't , but it was probably too right France is a lovely country, but it can reach the worst in some area like this (I think it's La Grande Motte on sea-side near Montpellier) -- Last edit: 2014-01-07 10:33:34 (antp) |
