![]() ![]() “‘Can this be an automobile?’ men wondered...” This is a fun documentary short, narrated by the jeep itself. As a government piece, it's readily available on places like youtube and wiki. First, my apologies if I submitted any vehicle I should not have. Likewise, my apologies if I should have submitted any of the vehicles below, but I am hopelessly clueless. There are obviously oodles of jeeps shown. Here are two jeeps with distinctly different grilles, and I have no idea if I should list them separately as they are shown only briefly (on account of the people in or around them, such as King George VI and Queen Elizabeth in the second pair of thumbs): ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Early on, the jeep mentions other military vehicles not meeting the requirements it is to meet and these are briefly shown: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Then it talks of how new automobiles are usually unveiled, and we see some car salon footage. I submitted two cars, but there are also these: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Additional stuff: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Prototype models: ![]() ![]() ![]() -- Last edit: 2023-07-09 13:23:42 |

L-R: 1938 Dodge, 1940 Hupmobile Skylark, 1939 Chrysler, 1939 Mercury, 1940 Buick Y-Job In my opinion you can list all of these, especially the Hupmobile and the Y-Job as these are rare cars. |

People of the future will say, "yes, definitely"... and proceed to show off the Jeep's ugly (and sometimes not even 4WD) descendants like the Hummer or the latter day Gelandewagen, among many others... -- Last edit: 2023-07-10 04:06:11 |
