I saw this documentary film in an IMAX theater several years ago. Unfortunately, I don't think it was ever released on any home media. |

Update: I have managed to locate it. It is included as a bonus feature in the DVD release of The Ultimate Guide: The Human Body. I have ordered a copy from eBay and will begin adding vehicle pictures once it arrives. -- Last edit: 2022-04-06 05:51:07 |

"For documentaries, it must have an interest for the site and somewhat a link to cars" What is the interest to the site or link to vehicles? |

I've already added pictures of vehicles from this documentary, pending approval from admins. |

Night cub is a validating admin. For documentaries you should ask if you can add then if admins approve upload cars. You would waste time if you do all the work only to have the page rejected. |

Ah. I didn’t see anything on his profile that said he was an admin. |

When commercials use an old vehicle that isn't part of the company in the ad. For example Outback Steakhouse using a Land Rover Defender 110 splashing through water on the beach. It's interesting and it's not allowed to be posted. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kkBIEAEEg9Y |

the list is here ( but only a few of them are validators ) |

The main page under the help section: /help.php shows all the admins. ![]() As an admin my work does not need validation but I cannot validate a page of a non-admin. Only a select few are validators. Hope this helps. We have a forum: https://imcdb.opencommunity.be/forum_categories.html also up on the top of the page labeled forum, where you can post in the specific sub-category if a certain show/series/documentary/et cetera would be accepted. Or you can create the page here and post a few of the cars in the comments of the page to see if admins will accept the page. That way you do not do all this work just to have the page rejected ![]() |

Does anyone know a commercial where a vehicle is used that isn't part of the company in the ad in a better way than the Outback Steakhouse example? |

rejected is the only word here I'm afraid. |

I just pictured a large shaded cemetery with armed uniformed men firing in the air at the same time. |

Another thing that doesn't get credit on the site is album covers. What is this make and model? Link to "i.discogs.com" https://i1.sndcdn.com/artworks-000005130680-8qj8mz-t500x500.jpg |
◊ 2022-04-12 21:22 |
dsl etc., do you think some album covers like these examples could be considered for the site? Where else is someone supposed to find what they are? |
◊ 2022-04-12 22:17 |
1] Haven't seen that cover for years. Magic Fly was a brilliant track. I think car is a Daimler Limo [DS420]. 2] Car is Ferrari P6 Pininfarina concept unveiled at Turin 1968 show, front looked Daytona-ish, but it was mid-engine predecessor of 365 Berlinetta Boxer. I'd enjoy a cars-on-album-covers db - for instance I've always wanted to know what this actually is for instance (otherwise a crap album except for a stunning bit of piano in the middle of the title track) - but it doesn't really fit imcdb. Maybe a parallel project?? |

I can link any clips/websites that may help, but otherwise, you have to buy the DVD as you can't stream it anywhere online. Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QLq_u-Liam8 Some BTS clips can be found here, but you need to view it in Internet Explorer mode: http://www.humanbody.bigmoviezone.com/filmsearch/movies/index.html?uniq=224 |

I've been around here for a while, I know how it works. I have an account on the forum as well. Just never had an issue like this before. -- Last edit: 2022-04-12 23:15:28 |

I think you are missing the point, we don't accept many documentaries because they are not in keeping with what the site is about. They should be well-known and if not, related to things automotive. I'm not sure how this one does either. Is it well-known? What does a documentary about the human body have to do with automobiles/vehicles? Which is why I am asking the question, why should this be listed? |
◊ 2022-04-13 11:11 |
Sure, it's automotive-related. The red Mini has over a minute of screentime and is used in a segment that talks about the human brain. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

But is the subject automotive related? Because it doesn't sound like it is to me... -- Last edit: 2022-04-13 13:11:36 |
◊ 2022-04-13 14:11 |
not to me either.. in the Mini example, the Mini is not the subject of that segment, brain is |
◊ 2022-04-13 22:18 |
I guess it's ok to approve, but I deleted the background vehicles that should not be included. |

Glad we were able to resolve this. Cheers ![]() |
