 oops..although supposedly set in 1972,some of the Humber Pigs and Saracens were filmed with modern number plates in situ,and in some scenes the shell of a burnt out BL Rover 2000 SD1 is visible..20 years before they rolled off the production line!theres a Sherpa van from the 1980s in there somewhere as well.

 This film was about the Bloody Sunday Massacre (or the Bogside Massacre); a mass shooting of protesters by the members of the British Army Parachute Regiment 1st Battalion (or the 1st Para) under command of Lieutenant Colonel Derek Wilford in the Bogside Area of Derry, Northern Ireland on the afternoon of 30th January 1972.

The massacre resulted in 14 protesters killed and 15 others wounded.

8 months later on the 7th September 1972, the 1st Para (again under command of Lieutenant Colonel Wilford) raided the homes and the headquarters of the Ulster Defence Association (or the UDA) in the Protestant Shankill Area of Belfast, the raids resulted in the deaths of two Protestant civilians and many others wounded.

As a result, the UDA and the local Protestants carried out mass protests, accusing the 1st Para of "shooting first, asking questions later", with a unit of the British Army Ulster Defence Regiment, calling for the 1st Para to be withdrawn from the Shankill Area.
