car chase and crashes? |

Three of them! First, the Chevy Caprice Estate gets chased by one of the 92 Crown Vics and the Grand Marquis. Then, the Maxima gets involved in a short chase by another 92 Crown Vic then gets pinned down by an assisting 95 Crown Vic. Finally, the longest chase in the movie, the BMW 735i gets chased by a 92 and a 95 Crown Vic, as well as the trusty old Grand Marquis. No crashes that I remember although the Caprice Estate takes a beating while attempting to evade the cops. |

From when in New York City (or in New Jersey?) is used the Transit Connect vans for the taxi service? And it's just a my impression, or these vehicles weren't used in a long time, for who know why? |

New York City taxis have to be retired when they're five years old. I've read that a lot of taxis are sold on to operators in other places, so the site might be a used taxi dealer. The Transit Connect is currently an approved model, and Ford entered it for the Taxi of Tomorrow contest to be exclusive taxi supplier for ten years. However, the Nissan NV200 won the contest and all new NYC taxis from 2014 onwards will be NV200s. -- Last edit: 2012-10-31 00:08:00 |

@ElSaxo: this regulation goes for New York City, but around, so in New Jersey, they can use older cabs. This May I've spotted on the Times Square even a Chrysler K-Car in taxi-use (with a N.J.registration). -- Last edit: 2012-10-31 10:42:01 |
