Michael Moore, one of the only people I truly loathe. A hypocrite and a disgrace to the state of Michigan.Bashes capitalism all the time but relies on the capitalist system to get his movies made so that he has a podium for his messages. Insists that all businesses be required to be unionized but refuses to use union labor for any of his film projects.I wish we could deport him.

Yes, 9-10 is a Monte Carlo

@cko: your opinion is not understandable for us Europeans (for Canadians neither, so my impression). He exaggerates, but not that much, and -more important- tells no lies. I read some of his books and was mainly bewildered - about the reality, he's referring about.
Btw.: he's very popular in Germany.

I anticipated this comment, and that it will come from you. So I suggest to dodge to: Link to "forum.imcdb.org"

P.S.Does anybody know, where the N.Y.sports team (baseball?) got its name "Dodgers" from? I've read the explanation in a travelers guide.

There are numerous things documented about his hypocrisy.Lets not even discuss his position toward the "1%" despite the fact that he clearly is among them.
Many of us here in America are very tired of his non-stop USA bashing. If he wants to be a far left-winger, thats fine. But the things he says against his own country get to be a bit much.I'm not happy with the more Euro-centric direction the country is headed in these days, but I won't speak as poorly of my nation as he does.Plus, the fact that he loves Cuba so much concerns many of us here.

As ingo suggested, please move the arguments to the forum section. This isn't really the place for political debates. [:kiki]

G-MANN, Why are there some random traffic cars listed, as these are not supposed to be listed in documentaries? :p

G-MANN UK

2013-02-04 16:23

Actually there were a few random traffic cars already listed:

/vehicle_116791-Toyota-Van-1984.html
/vehicle_116795-Ford-Taurus-1999.html
/vehicle_116793-Toyota-Echo-NCP12-2000.html

And I added 3 more like them:

/vehicle_570537-Chevrolet-Cavalier-1988.html
/vehicle_570285-Ford-Ranger-1985.html
/vehicle_570538-Chrysler-Intrepid-1993.html (listed this because I didn't know what it was and I thought it looked sporty)

In my defence, I'll also point out that this documentary is as well known as many feature films (it's not like some TV documentary)

True, that's a good point. Documentaries with theatrical releases is closer to real movies.

:??: no I mean that's the reason why some were already listed
And when we find cases like that, usually they are deleted.
But for this one I guess the few ones listed are OK.

Originally it was a put down Manhattanites used against people in Brooklyn because Brooklyn had many trolly tracks. Over time the negative aspect was changed to positive. There's probably a term for something that was once negative being changed to positive.

a) Bullshit. He may be a lot of things, but not far left. If you want to see really far left morons, come to Europe. We have some of them, especially in Western Europe. Not as much as in the 70ies, but some single clowns are still spooking around.

b) More Euro-centering would have some really remarkable advantages. As social insurances for example.

c) Why not loving Cuba? It's a country having nice weather, architectural history, hot girls and (!) a plenty of classic cars. A retarded gerontocracy as nomenklatura plus corruption - but this is not really a rarity.

In this book it was said a bit different. "Dodging" shall have been a kind of dare. Young guys were running in front of a tram and jumped away as late as possible.
