 This film is about Brian Nichols who went on crime spree after he escaped from the Fulton County Courthouse in Atlanta on the morning of the 11th March 2005.

In the process of the escape, Nichols bashed a female sheriff deputy and then took off with her service firearm before shooting dead Roland Barnes; the judge who was presiding over Nichols' trial for rape, kidnapping and assault and Julie Ann Brandau; court reporter in the courtroom and then Sergeant Hoyt Teasley; a court officer near the exit of the courthouse.
