Too bad for the three last (I never found Russell good and here she really drag me down), but, with the exception of half a dozen lines, and two or three moments, it never could make me even smile. Loud and boring, actually (to my miserable self, naturally, no harm intended to anybody and no animal injured in my sitting room). Anyway, seeing Kay Francis made me remember this superlative comedy, Lubitsch's Trouble in Paradise. It was 9 years before, and a light-year in distance. Je me suis bien emmerdé à essayer de supporter cette comédie bruyante et la criarde et lourdingue Rosalind Russell. Tant pis pour les autres, moins Don Ameche monotone que Van Heflin (surprenant en séducteur) et Kay Francis — qui, la pauvre, est affublée tout le long du film de tenues qui, même si comme moi vous n'êtes pas spécialement chiffon, vous feraient alternativement sortir les yeux de la tête et exploser de rire. -- Last edit: 2016-01-04 15:25:17
