Un flamboyant mélodrame de Marcel Pagnol, tourné en mai-juin 40, puis en août et novembre, sorti en décembre 40 en "zone libre". On y entend la célèbre allocution radio-diffusée du Maréchal Pétain préparant l'acceptation de l'armistice. Ce film fut considéré comme "maréchaliste"… Voire. De toutes façons, les thèmes illustrés ici ne sont pas nouveaux chez Pagnol. Film peut-être pétainiste, mais pagnoliste à coup sûr. L'auteur est une fois de plus servi idéalement par de remarquables interprètes,

À part ça, quatre véhicules qui auraient dû être trois : on trouve deux motos pour cause de mauvaise continuité, je pense. Elles sont peut-être françaises. Une voiturette Peugeot, dont le modèle n'est pas évident, et une Simca 8 complètent le tableau.

 I have wondered if I can read and listen French language despite my hearing loss :think:

At the moment, I have already master reading the Russian Cyrillic alphabet, but not at the grammar structure yet.

 Hearing loss wouldn't be such a problem for reading French.

(And it happens that French films are given to download with French subtitles!)

Last summer, I had a choice of taking either Arts, French, German or Spanish class for my major requirement. With my hearing loss, I took the easiest one: Arts ;)
