Quite offtopic, but a descendant of "The Red Baron" Manfred von Richthofen is the guy, who smashes Opel Kadett E's as an art-happening: http://www.woassteh.com/indexOLD.php?module=nachschau_detail&id=15

Indeed it sounds very different

Nice performance by the way.... but it's sometimes played in the real life in our suburbs :D

It may sound boastful or racistic, but I admit, that one important reason, when we had looked for a house (and for apartments in the past, too), was to avoid just the minimal possibility to get any kind of contact to these suburb-circumstances. In Germany it's not so bad like actually in France, but we have very rough areas, too.

For me it means real quality of living, when you can let your house and your cars open. I don't do that, but I want to be sure, that it won't be a problem.

Hey, Ingo! Thanks for promoting my youtube-account. :D I saw their performance in 06/2007 and received Mr. von Richthofen's kind permission to release the vid. Love their sense of humour!

Oh, I haven't seen it. :)

I would get in trouble, when I would go there. My wife has still her beloved E-Kadett in her heart, which was wrecked in 2002 (too rusty, as usual). She would not like to see that.
I'm also not allowed to show the last photos I had made - when she mounted off the plates on the junkyard, with tears in her eyes, and in the background you could see the lurking claw-dozer.

Well? The reality is not so bad that people and media (power) says, and these acts are very exptionnal here too! ... a riot happened in 2005 in Clichy sous Bois, extended to some suburb in several towns , .... mostly due to security policy of the "Ministère de l'intérieur" of a certain Sarkosy at this time. All that was excessive in the media ,to help security arguments in politic for the future "président" de la Republique! :/

I remember, then he made his "Kärcher"-slogan.
