I fully expected this movie to be irreparably sunk by single performance, and that is just what I got. Surprisingly, though, said evil performance was not the work of the much ridiculed George Raft. Instead, it was the work of a wretchedly miscast and hopelessly inadequately made-up Ann Harding whose idea of a credible performance as an old spinster was to blink a lot. Thank goodness for the ffw button. Notably, this movie features Randolph Scott's final non-western appearance although, ironically, he still plays a cowboy. As ever, Joan Blondell is wonderful and almost saves the movie.

IMDb strikes again:

It's sad times we live in when the world's leading movie reference website can't recognize Joan Blondell when it sees her. Not that it recognizes the other actress either, since she's neither Virginia Field nor Dolores Moran.

I've had to edit some filming locations and descriptions of them on the site before. It's possible to edit the names for that picture if you click on the icon below it to the right. Although you might not care enough about that particular thing.

I know I can do that and there was a spell when I contributed a fair bit, but when they refuse to ie. remove "uncredited" tag even when you provide a screenshot of the actor's credit, then you know you're wasting your time there. I prefer to "waste" it here...
