In the 1940's were imported a lot of different buses because the most important pre-war bus/chassis/bodies plants like PZInż or Chevrolet were in Warsaw, and together with this city disappeared from the face of the earth in 1944. The Chaussons were the best from all of these which were bought in those time and their import was continued also later in the 1950's/60's (APH521/522) even when the production of such vehicles has completely revived here. Here is a catalogue of all Warsaw buses (with exception of a few newest) http://www.przegubowiec.com/bus/katalog/katalog.htm = more old french buses. Language is PL, but quite interesting pics. -- Last edit: 2007-02-12 19:35:39 |
