@lerv1 - I doubt the Peugeot you submitted belongs to this movie. Are you sure you have the right title? |

The IMDB says one scene was filmed in Scotland. Could it be from that scene? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4287320/locations |

I watched the two trailers for the film and nothing resembling it is shown |

@night cub. Yes i am sure. It's the second 308, and like this, there is no confusion. But the official name is of course Peugeot 308. I will change it. |

This movies stars Emma Watson & Tom Hanks and is set and filmed in California. Peugeot did not sell 308's in the US. -- Last edit: 2017-08-02 20:40:13 |

The car is French, because EuropaCorp, the french production firm of Luc Besson like this car. So i think they import it in USA for the film. -- Last edit: 2017-08-02 20:40:18 |

Yes it's not sell in USA, but we've already seen a Peugeot RCZ in CSI /vehicle_558571-Peugeot-RCZ-2010.html. In The Circle, you can also see the dashboard of the car. |

Ok, thanks, just wanted to make sure it was the correct film. Now I see Emma Watson driving it. 5-stars seems like too much for the rating (I reduced to 4, but even that may be too much). 5-star cars are ones that are a character in the film, think the General Lee in The Dukes of Hazard, the Trans Am in Smokey & the Bandit, The Family Truckster in NL's Vacation. This movie is not about cars, and it's not even seen in the trailers or images for the film. How long is it used in the movie? Also, the black bars need to be trimmed. Just the photo, no frame. |

We can see it only 1-2 minutes. I will remove the black bars. |

I think it’s because Peugeot is planning to relaunch sales in the US around 2026 so they have started to include their cars in movies based in or filmed in North America so it gets people who aren’t familiar with the brand so when they do start selling them people have an idea of what the company is and what cars they make |

kind of early to do that. i don't know the 308's current status but odds are good it won't look the same in 10 years but like lerv1 said, might have been imported for the movie . laws are probably different in US but a few years ago french automobile journalists imported a Citroen C3 for a week in Montréal -- Last edit: 2020-08-10 06:48:10 |
