I spy a Mercedes-Benz [W201], a Dodge Intrepid, a Ford Taurus, a couple Pontiacs, a few pickup trucks, and I believe the wrecked semi is a Freightliner Century. |

Excellent pictures Neptune, I'm really looking forward to this movie. The Terminator series is my favorite movie franchise. |

Just added HD Theatrical Trailer (2) |

The trailer of this looks horrible, with huge Transformer-like "robots". Not to mention it's directed by "McG", who directed the awful harlie's Angels films. I'm questioning why they commissioned him to direct this, as he has never directed a well received film. |

I think the trailers look good. While I do agree that McG has made some subpar films, I'm optimistic about this one, especially with what looks to be a good cast (plus Stan Winston, who did the special effects for the previous movies, also worked on this one right before his death). |

The trailer looks ok. But you can’t judge a movie by it’s trailer or who directed it. I learned that from Transformers. I heard countless people say Transformers was going to be crap because Michael Bay was directing it. I’m not going say Terminator Salvation is good or bad, until I’ve seen it for myself. -- Last edit: 2008-12-12 01:07:19 |

I generally like Michael Bay's films. The Rock is one of my favourite movies of all times, for example. I also like Bad Boys 1 & 2 and The Island. There seems to be a small clique of kids on IMDB who dislike Michael Bay intensely, while others seem to dislike him solely because of Armageddon and Pearl Harbor (neither of which I have seen), but I think he is a very competent director and has a much more accomplished resume than "McG". Generally speaking though, the critics and public react fairly well to Michael Bay's films. The "Charlie's Angels" films were truly appalling. All of the action consisted of horrible "stylised" shots with an overuse of inappropriate slow motion, pretentious swooping camera work, CGI, ridiculous stunt doubling and bad accompanying music. It's not surprising that his background comes from music videos, because that's exactly what those "movies" look like. Completely MTV style. Of course Michael Bay also directed music videos, but he shows much more confidence in making comprehensible films. Of course, I can't judge the movie before I see it, but the director and the trailer certainly don't fill me with confidence. This franchise has already been ruined by a mediocre third installment and a truly awful TV series. I don't have high hopes that this is going to redeem it. |

Just added HD Theatrical Trailer (3) At this rate if they add a few more trailers, we will have all the cars in the film, all that will be left to do is add star ratings ... ![]() -- Last edit: 2009-03-14 06:26:58 |

Note that now for HD trailers you are not forced to rescale to 720 pixels-wide if the original video is wider, cf Link to "forum.imcdb.org" |

I thoroughly enjoyed this film and it did not disappoint at all. For a post-apocalyptic movie, it has a fair share of cars, although mostly background. Helicopters play more of a major role than vehicles. |

I just saw this last night. There's definitely a '76-'78 Trans Am in the moto-terminator scene that gets whacked at one point. As a whole, the movie should have been better. It certainly is no "T2" |

Shouldn't the title be "Terminator: Salvation", not "Terminator Salvation"? |
