Don’t know if it is availed in America but there is a UK version with English subtitles. It came out in the UK just before Tokyo Drift and is a much better film. |

The transcription of the Chinese title used by IMDb is 'Tau man ji D' and not 'Tau man chi D'. In the more common Hanyu Pinyin the word 極 is transcribed 'ji', while the older Wade-Giles transcription uses 'chi'. To be precise, 'jí' would be the correct way to write it. http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/%E6%A5%B5 But the word in question is 字 which has the Hanyu Pinyin transcription 'zì', Wade-Giles 'tzŭ' and Yale (Cantonese) 'jì'. I guess, as often pronunciation marks are neglected, this mistake is due to the use of more than one system while transcribing. As the ISO 7098 is derived from the Hanyu Pinyin this should be taken. |

Suzuki was the name of the mechanic. The engine they put in the car was a 1.6 liter engine from Japanese Touring Car championships Corolla AE101, with 20 Valve cylinder head engineered by Yamaha. |
