“Alright, we'll get a later model, we'll spend the money we don't have and we'll drive to the poor house.” Judging from the handful of Joe McDoakes comedies I've seen, this one has more vehicles than the rest of them combined. George O'Hanlon (George Jetson himself) is a hoot and this is a hilarious send-up of unscrupulous used car salesmen and their gullible customers. Another convertible: A background wagon or something: |

Background wagon or something is a 1941 Buick Limited. The convertible is a 48/49 Oldsmobile 98 Futuramic. There's also a '50 Mercury here on the right that hasn't been mentioned. |

^ Thanks. I added the Oldsmobile, given that they talk about it. I didn't list the other two as they're only visible for a few moments, partly at that, and never seen again. |

This and all the other shorts in the series are collected in the Joe McDoakes (So You Want) Comedies dvd-r set from Warner Archive Collection. |
