 Filmed in Belarus and Poland (archive footage only)

IMDB says 1998, however, the copyright at the end says 1997.

Background vehicles (archive footage of Poland, with so many communist-era cars plus a Caro in the second thumb I would date it at about 1991-93) The car the camera is in is never seen from the outside.

 This Polonez on 2nd thumb looks more like older 1989 model (pre-Caro). "So many communist cars" are mostly 126ps.

 Is that a Wartburg or a 2140 in the third Belarus thumb behind the 2106? If a Wartburg, uncommon as the USSR was mostly uninterested in the 2-stroke GDR stuff.

Also, in which Polish city were the archive images made?

 Me too, from "communsit cars" you see there mostly 126ps, well but I wrote this before you have added 2 new thumbs with 2 125ps.
