Listed on the IMDB as a Ukrainian production. |

Indeed, produced by Film.ua, and the 2105 also has a Ukrainian plate. You can also tell by the terribly faked Russian plates. It's really annoying how there are hardly any productions made in Ukraine that are also set there, with real plates and all. |

But I think this is due to the Ukraine being predominantly Russian-language. From what I can see, the Ukrainian language plays (please, UA users forgive me on this!) second fiddle to Russian, and it's only really dominant in the West, in the parts that were ceded from Poland after WWII. In Kiev they speak both, but beyond that (and also on Crimea?) is dominantly Russian territory. -- Last edit: 2020-07-11 21:10:03 |
