Very nice pictures :) but remember, it's unknown - so you will have to correct all the "unknows" before validation. For the next time, you don't need to type it in manually each time, just leave one or both fields blank and the "unknown" will automatically appear.

I really like the older japanese vehicles, because they are smaller than the vehicles here.

me too! Especially the little Ohta and Datsun from the 50's

I wouldn't mind having one of these little cars. It'd be really cool, having a tiny '50s Japanese auto.

A Toyopet Corona would be pretty neat too have. Not a later one though, I like the '57 Corona.

Toyopet Corona was exported to the USA in '57 and '58, but I think the critics classified it as a bad car since it had a very low maximum speed for US highways.

That is nice to know, but I'd prefer an original Japanese car with the right-hand steering.

at least at that age you don't have to worry about the RHD law
( don't know what is it in your province but here Québec pushed it back to 25 years ( still 15 for LHD ) some time ago ( already registered ones were exempted of the new regulation )

One of my dreams is to get a car from the 50's Japanese and to be able to restore it ... My favorite is the Datsun Convar from 1954

I'm not too familiar with Ontario's laws regarding right-hand steering but I haven't seen any newer RHD cars. There's a 1991 Toyota 4Runner/Hilux with RHD on kijiji (Canada's craigslist, minus the crackheads) and a grey '91 Nissan Figaro that I got to see in person once but those are the newest cars with right-hand steering I've seen (aside from the usual bevey of classic European imports at car shows) so maybe Ontario has that law as well.

And Gongora, the make and model of '50s Japanese car wouldn't really matter since unlike American cars, the styling never went through any drastic changes throughout the '50s and a 1950s Japanese car is likely to turn heads regardless of the model... that being said, I wouldn't mind a 1957 Prince Skyline Deluxe or a 1953 Toyopet Super.

Of those two, I prefer the 1953 Toyopet Super... both in its rhn body and in the rhk :D
