British science-fiction movie directed by Terence Fisher, with at least one American actor, the male lead Howard Duff (extreeemely wooden), and one American co-producer. Hence, the British are not finally the first men to go in the space.

It is a bit more a murder mystery. With a Cold War spy story twist, see?

Anyway, anyhow, the nice couple (un-married at the beginning),
