marioman3138 ◊ 2007-12-20 09:44	I saw the movie today (the day it came out!), the car chase with the C280, the Range Rover, London Taxi cab and a truck was fantastic. there was also aa chase with the Merc SUV and some cop cars.
badlymad ◊ 2007-12-26 08:22	Pretty decent movie, plenty of set pieces without lots of violence, though that's not surprising considering it is a Disney movie. The chase between the C-Klasse and the Range Rover was good, though that was the only scene where cars figured prominently. ahight ◊ 2008-01-03 14:23	Really good movie. I usually wait till they come out on DVD but I ended up going to the theater. I loved the C280...beautiful car! During the rest of the movie I couldn't get the theme song of Goonies out of my head.

CarChasesFanatic ◊ 2008-01-17 14:56	40 50 cars? no way, ive seen it and the really destroyed cars are the taxi, the mercedes and the truck gets a bit destroyed, then a few bikes a G-Wiz and the mercedes hits a scenic which i dotn think it counts as destroyed, 40 or 50 sounds a lot to me for what is visible in the chase.

dudley ◊ 2008-05-01 17:49	And the myriad authorities before the HSE have their say - councils, police, TfL Buses, TfL Streets... It's getting better, we're told, but there still exists a jobsworth attitude. Not like the US, where you can (or could when I shot there) do what you liked.

I suspect the authorities - the ones you mention, among others - tend to use the HSE as an excuse to throw their weight about; in fact these jobsworths probably enjoy f***ing up car chases - as they do everything from St George's Day parades to kids' playgrounds
