2006 low-budget zombie film with one of the worst titles in cinematic history (is automaton even a real word?). A military project from the '60s is resurrected in the modern day, causing a town to be overrun with zombies and it's up to four high school students to not only survive, but find a cure. Aside from decent gore effects and some interesting kills, this film doesn't have much to offer; the acting is atrocious with some people screaming their lines so hard I can't understand what they were saying and a soundtrack that is much too loud! The camera is also never perfectly still.

This movie also ends on a cliffhanger that's left us hanging for... *checks watch* 18 years.

 Ah, so it is a real word. Still, this film is about zombies and not robots so the title still fails.

title made me think that i'd see Ratchet replacing another Autobot's transmission fluid.. :whistle:
