 Interesting to see the two translations of the movie's title: 'Joyeux Noël' (= Merry Christmas) and 'Happy Easter'...

 Happy Easter is the literal english translation but the correct translation of the title is the french one because the film is set on Christmas Time. The problem comes with two spanish meanings about 'Pascua'. The 1st. (and more important) is the same meaning of Easter (anglo-saxon goddess of the spring) and, for that, in spanish also can be called Pascua Florida (Flowery time), that is, we are in spring, and Pascua de Resurrección (Resurrection time). But, at the same time, in spanish 'Pascuas' (on winter) also means Christmas time. So then, here the english title comes from a bad literal translation.

 Thanks for the explanation. It is further evidence of Christianity taking what were pagan festivals and re-inventing and repackaging them as Christian.
