The aspect ratio is the difference between the width and the height of the picture. There are standards for different medium. Most movies are 1.85:1, which comes to 720x390px. Newer movies are now being shown in 2.35:1, so they look longer in width and shorter in height to the standard. Standard definition TV is 1.33:1, which looks more square. Widescreen HD TV is 16:9 (or 1.77:1). Computer screens are generally 1.6:1. There are a lot of others. When we look at pictures, we at least look for consistency within a title. Your pics are all over the place, which tells us that you are not giving full screen caps or you are cropping the pictures. For instance, your Monte Carlo pic is much shorter than the Fusion pics, and the Grand Prix pic is even taller. The newer pics you provided are at least closer to the 720x390 that they should be. |
