Lateef ◊ 2020-08-21 10:11	Because there are no cars newer than 1953 except a 54 Nash appering in a transitional scene that may have been edited in later. The style of music being performed live at the bar around 20 minutes into the film is early 1950s rhythm and blues, whereas the kids depicted in this film would have preferred dancing to a more developed form of Rock and Roll.
