Not many cars here, but unusual to see two Edsels in a film from 1960 - plus there are some good shots of the firetrucks.

RT-33A s/n 51-9098, civil reg. N1387N, then N7490C, later N233Y. This was the first civilian T-33, pieced together in 1957 from a wreck and parts from a Nevada scrapyard (apparently the Navy refused to loan the movie company a TV-2 trainer, so this one filled the role). Currently at the DeLand Naval Air Station Museum in Florida awaiting restoration.

National Airlines DC-6 wearing fictitious "Trans States" markings and registration "N16020" (which was the number of Amelia Earhart's missing Lockheed Electra!). Actual registration unknown at this time.
