 The white car visible through the window is a 1959 Simca Aronde P60 Grand Large! Only two of these are listed on the site... (and they are listed as coupe, not sedan).

 I use to have this on VHS Tape. Its not a bad movie considering it's age. A good popcorn flick for classic Sci-Fi film lovers.
