Lateef I'm curious from the movies you've added from this era which do you think has the best plot?

Tough question, as I'm not really a plot person - I think I'm more into suspense and uncertainty, as such I really enjoyed Split Second (1953), The Glass Wall (1953), The Night Holds Terror (1955), Back From Eternity (1956), Never Let Go (1960) and Ring of Fire (1961). However, I recall that there definitely were some gripping dramas with good plots that I would like to rewatch, such as Turn The Key Softly (1953), New York Confidential (1955), The Naked Street (1955) and A Hatful of Rain (1957).

Thanks. I think the most uncertain I've ever been watching a movie is Cremaster 3 haha. It's supposed to be like that though. I think you mean more in terms of a twist or shocking random event. In the movie The 4th Floor the main character is suddenly in the apartment of a crazy upstairs tenet who filled the entire room with packing peanuts. Then he starts moving underneath them towards the main character. It's a shocking, unique, and suspenseful thing to happen and it works well. I know I had to spoil it to explain it though unfortunately.
