 I hope some day one of us (me, maybe) can put a hand on a decent copy of

at its real format, for Freddie Francis' photographie is very good, and there are interesting vehicles in it, even in the outdoor sequence filmed in Hoddesdon (there, the vehicles are not that peculiar, but they are nicely shot).

To me, up-loading new and correct pictures on IMCDb would be the only reason to re-watch this 'crime thriller' directed by Karel Reisz (who produced it with Albert Finney, the main actor). For this movie is rather painful to watch: the loud and inept score, the zoomings, the fact that this thriller can't generate a chill, and above all the over-acting Finney.

Quite painful, really. (On a side, next time, perhaps I'll laugh.)

Too bad for Mona Washbourne, Susan Hampshire and Sheila Hancock who all showed something interesting here.
