3 minute film about new road marking system, taken from COI Collection Volume Six: Worth the Risk?. Introduced by Roy Hudd who plays all the characters, and has an amazing shirt/tie combo - oh the wacky 1970s. Background Cortina with Lotus stripe ... but it's a 4 door, so fake. Not even a GT badge. Toy cars - identify all 4 and win the respect of your fellow imcdbers. (Clue - 3 Corgis, 1 Matchbox Super King). The red one is the challenge ... And that's the last film from this DVD set. And sadly from the full collection of these COI/BFi DVD sets - all eight now done. But the BFi treasure trove is the gift that keeps on giving - more stuff lined up ... |

Red one is OSI's DAF City Car by Corgi Mini also have the Whizzwheels. I guess the Cortina is also too young(?) to have the older wheels. Description of the Matchbox camper: http://essexmodelsandminiatures.co.uk/blog/matchbox-camper-cruiser/ |

Perfect answer. The Cortina only ever had the Rostyle whizzwheels, but there are some pre-pros with the strange gold/red blob whizzwheels Corgi first used - I saw one on ebay a couple of years ago for £1200. I never understood why Corgi made that DAF OSI - I remember it in the shops, but no-one I knew among my chums ever bought one because we'd never heard of the real one. I don't think anyone else ever made a model of it, so it's a unique Corgi. |

Maybe to have in catalogue such interesting gadget with all these openable doors (including one sliding) - in theory it could be subject for attractive toy. Once on model/toy cars market I played with one a little - mint condition - but it was too expensive for my (back then school boy) financial abilities and in "wrong" scale |
