Updated with clearer caps and correct ratio, added also the Lincoln. The DVD contained a handcoloured version also, I add some samples of that in the comments. ![]() ![]() |

This movie was made in Evans City, PA which is less than 10 miles from Butler (where I live). If you've seen the movie, towns from all over Butler County (including Butler) appear on the TV screen in the house during a newscast. I know where the house used in the film was, but it is no longer there. Now, its a turf farm. |

I included a car that was in the new footage made for the 30th Anniversary Edition. Me and friend couldn't get the exact make and model down. It appears to be an early '60s Chrysler brand. |

I added the truck that was behind Ben when he first appeared. It is definitely not the Chevy Advance-Design truck we see in the movie. |

Added two new vehicles: a Lincoln (I think) that was in the new ending from the 30th Anniversary Edition; it might be a Chrysler, and a background car that is seen from inside the LeMans as it's rolling down the road. |

I do not think this is a 1967 Lemans. I think it is a 1967 Tempest. The tail lights are different from the GTO/Lemans. The GTO and Lemans both had a dual bar light that was flush mounted in the rear valence. The Tempest had the protruding rear light which is so plainly obvious as the car first turns into the cemetery. Here is a pic of 1967 Tempest Link to "www.cargurus.com" |

It's a LeMans. In the scene where Barbara gets in the car to escape the zombie, as the zombie is pulling on the door handle the camera dips down and for a second the LeMans badging is visible. https://youtu.be/yA5kk8LB7BQ?t=472 |

What happened to the Pontiac from the movie? |

A far background car can be seen from inside the LeMans as Bill Hinzman shambles after it. Possibly the '65 Lincoln seen later in the film or a different car belonging to a crew member. This car used to have it's own page but was removed for being too far away and partially obstructed.![]() ![]() -- Last edit: 2021-05-03 05:42:35 |
