Some background vehicles. Please tell when anything worth to list: -- Last edit: 2010-12-03 16:27:14 |

...at quite the first part of the movie, just as the girl arrives in Sheffield there is clearly visible passing a rare and beautyful 1961 Ford Consul Classic (315 for abroad) in Sapphire blue. It is big in the picture and worth to be listed as a rare car. |

Yes, I remember something like that. I will watch the scene again and post the car. -- Last edit: 2010-12-03 20:18:14 |

Thumbs 2 and 3 are Edinburgh: the second one is taxis at Waverley station and the third the Lawnmarket junction on the Royal Mile. Lots of identifiable cars in all these thumbs, and someone may be able to do something with the coaches in the background of the chase-the-egg game, but the only unusual one I can see is which could be specifically identified is the Cadillac convertible in the final airport carpark thumb, and it would need one of our land-yacht experts to do so, not me. |

The parts of Waverley station that are shown there and the Fiat 1500 picture haven't really changed in over 40 years. |

Though I'm more into 2-cylinder vehicles, I'd say the Cadillac must be a 1963 model, most probably a Series 62 [6267]. |

The Cadillac actually looks like a 1960 to me. |

CougarTim is right: it is a 1960 Cadillac Sixty-Two convertible. |

Voilà: /vehicle_354300-Ford-Consul-Classic-1961.html From the same picture I listed also the Reliant Regal Supervan. Needs an expert to determine the year and the exact model. -- Last edit: 2010-12-04 10:10:21 |

Excellent selection of captured cars and some interesting locations. Thanks for an enjoyable evening exploring them. |

...thank You very much! |

...I made a mistake: a better Ford Consul Classic in the same colour is seen as the Italian girl arrives in Bath (and not Sheffield!!!). -- Last edit: 2024-04-21 10:41:22 |
