Salut les copains ! I am about to add vehicles for but there are many, many of them since the movie is almost only a long cruise through Los Angeles in 1968. Chosing the pics to upload will be difficult. For instance, to me the title pic, here, is elligible for the white sedan on the left—which I can't name, naturally. What do you think? (The signal of the end of my uploading will be given by a message with a few words about the film and some regalia for rjluna2.) |

J'ai fini ! I'm through with this one! de Jacques—considering a move to LA—Demy avec Anouk Aimée (hélas), Gary Lockwood, Alexandra Hay (dear oh dear) and a cameo of Spirit, the mythical Randy California's band, in charge of the movie score too (a pretty good score, by the way). It is mainly a long drift through Los Angeles. The main character is followed during 24 hours, between the beginning of the split with his girl and a last attempt to keep its MG TD (the real main character of the film), the encounter with a French woman (Lola, of Demy's "Lola" fame), and the final loss of its car, repossessed by the credit company on the next morning. No other comment about the movie itself. Now, the vehicles. You'll certainy, the administrators at least, notice that I upoaded 166 pics. It's a lot, I've got to admit it. But well… it's all the movie is about. I probably have made many mistakes, focussing on a car while another, in the corner of a pic, was more interesting, or giving many double for a rather common one, or called "coupé" a two-door sedan, or an un-noticed convertible, and so on. Please, let me in advance offer you my apologies for these mistakes, and for the delay. A word to rjluna2: many traffic lights (many), to come. Bonus: a probable Volvo passing by, in the beginning of the movie… -- Last edit: 2014-04-24 08:38:58 |

The white sedan is a 1960 Chevrolet. Edit: I did not know it was already listed. -- Last edit: 2019-03-28 19:40:21 |
