A spin-off from the Department S series, starring the central character from that show, Jason King (Peter Wyngarde). -- Last edit: 2011-12-06 11:21:42 |

@tonyrome, if you see a same vehicle is used in more than one episode merge extra pictures from the same vehicle on the same page already listed. For instance as /vehicle_456302-Bentley-S2-Continental-1960.html |

The 'Monteverdi' looks more like a circa 1965-66 Oldsmobile Cutlass. -- Last edit: 2016-04-07 10:33:31 |

You may correct them if you like, you know. |

At the time I looked at those two yesterday they were locked. |

Is the locked vehicle editing restricted to validators only, and not regular admins? ![]() |

Yes. I always have to wait until they're validated. |

Right, whoever did the first uploads on this series I think has made a lot of errors, none of the vehicles listed as 1.01 are in that episode. The original uploaders poor uploading has confused me on a couple uploads as a result, all these need to be checked for correct episode now, all the uploads for 1.01 are in fact 1.15. I'm going to have to re watch all the downloads now and properly check the episode names as I expect most of the uploads, prior to me joining the uploads, are incorrect. In fact I am unable to change any details what so ever with the listings as I have no rights ![]() -- Last edit: 2016-04-08 15:42:01 |

Sometimes the episode ordering differs between DVDs and IMDB (production and airing order) so it might be down to that (this series is an example: /movie_66712-Shirley-s-World.html ). IMDB numbering here: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0066672/episodes?ref_=tt_ep_epl so one might be according to one naming system. Just comment what changes need to be made if the numbers really don't make sense and they will be changed. |

1.09 are all definitely incorrect also. My suggestion is we delete everything for Jason King and I will upload the whole series, will be better quality pictures than some previously uploaded, and all correct, other than that it will be too much work trying to sort the listings out and I will just leave it as it is and stop uploading and fresh ones for this series. |

No that's not the case here, its just mistakes by the 2 original uploaders from badly labelled download files or just lazyness. For me it will be more work to get things corrected, and easier to start again from scratch, as you will see from all the series I have uploaded in the past I pride myself on getting the whole series correct, and the best quality images I can. So for me to assist in correcting this starting from scratch is the only way I would want to be involved. |

@Danzie - what are you working from? Is it the full-blown 8-DVD set?? Or?? If everything gets scrapped and redone, your new source should - if possible - be the definitive/most complete available source, so that it stands the best chance of being the version that Joe Bloggs might encounter today. Higher quality captures are a definite bonus, but a supplementary argument. Whoever takes the decision to scrap/start again (or not) will probably largely rely on your assurances that you have the definitive version, so we're in your hands to some extent. Plus for the effort involved and your judgement that it's worth redoing - your dedication is appreciated. And we know that imdb is occasionally prone to errors/omissions just as we are and probably every other amateur-driven database, but we are wary if what we do deviates from their sequencing. (Although one solution to keep compatibilty would be for you to submit to them the revisions you're proposing, so that compatibility is restored). Slight quibble - very few if any imcdb contributors are lazy, so other explanations preferred if they need to be pursued. |

Hi dsl, I have every episode downloaded, I presume ripped from the DVD, each episode name comes up after the beginning credits, and I check via the IMDB and Wikipedia episode guides that they are correct and the right episode numbers. I don't mind re-adding every car 1 episode at a time, but from my point of view it would be a harder and really annoying process trying to correct what is already here. |

That sounds solid to me if you have the same total of 26 eps as those other sources claim. But I'm not a Deciding Admin. |

Actually, I have the Network boxed set and this is the order they list for the series. See the last part of this review for confirmation dvdcompare.net/review.php?rid=541. Any complaints, contact Network! Laziness? See above. I await your apology! -- Last edit: 2017-03-05 21:34:24 |

You have a 'ripped copy' and this is going to be better quality than Network's remastered box set? I don't think so! The problem with this series is that the source material is poor, as it was shot on 16mm, to save money. The Network release is therefore the best you will get, unless they decide to do a Blu-Ray version, which seems unlikely. |
